NIMASA Provides Medical Equipment to Abuja Hospitals

In its drive to help common citizens in the country, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency have given out free medical equipment to some hospitals in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The Director of Special Studies, Mr Isichei Osamgbi who represented the Director General of NIMASA stated that the philanthropic act of the Agency was a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
In his address, the DG pointed out the significance of the donation to Asokoro District hospital as figurative and that the same gesture which is meant to aid the Federal Government and other stakeholders efforts in good healthcare delivery would definitely extend to other hospitals in the area.
In response to the gifts, the Secretary of the FCT Emergency Management Agency, who was filled with gratitude stressed that the items would be channelled towards the improvement of healthcare delivery at the FCT.
It would be recalled that NIMASA has handed out educational materials, hospital equipment, security intervention materials and safety items to different states across the country in fulfilment of its obligation to Nigerians in line with the CSR program of 202.
