On Friday, June 5, 2026, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations in Lagos was filled beyond capacity as thousands of worshippers, ministers, dignitaries, and partners from around the world gathered to mark five years since the transition to glory of Prophet T.B. Joshua. The anniversary service, themed _“Rejoicing With the Saints,”_ was streamed live on Emmanuel TV, uniting millions across nations, languages, and cultures in a single act of remembrance and celebration.

Nollywood actor Femi Branch and presenter Seraphine Dogbe hosted the evening. Through worship, testimonies, and tributes, they reminded everyone that though five years had passed since the prophet’s passing, his influence still cuts across continents. The lives he touched and the values he lived by continue to shape people and communities today.
Music set the tone for the night. Byron Cage, the acclaimed American gospel minister, led the congregation into thanksgiving with powerful praise. Tanzanian worshipper Christina Shusho followed, ushering people into deep worship. Zambia’s Kings Mumbi Malembe brought high-energy praise that filled the auditorium, while Brian Courtney Wilson slowed the pace with soulful renditions that drew hearts toward gratitude and reflection on God’s faithfulness.

A major highlight was the _Conversation Corner_, hosted by Vimbai Mutinhiri. It became a window into the worldwide reach of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s ministry. Guests from different countries stepped forward to share how his prayers, counsel, and humanitarian work changed their personal lives and communities.

Tributes came from King Willard Mswati Gormani of Malawi, Colonel Wilson from Colombia, Pastor Acosta from Argentina, and Lieutenant Colonel Melo from the Dominican Republic. Their stories made it clear: his influence reached presidents and pastors, military officers and market women. The same message of faith, compassion, and service resonated with them all.

The most emotional moment came when SCOAN screened a detailed video documentary of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s life. It traced his path from humble roots to becoming one of the most talked-about Christian leaders of his time. The footage highlighted his deep faith, discipline, and tireless commitment to helping humanity. A symbolic scene of him being received into glory by the saints moved many in the auditorium to tears, as memories of his humility and sacrifice flooded back.

The anniversary also spotlighted the T.B. Joshua Foundation. Through projects like the Five Thousand Lives Initiative and The Horizon Project, the foundation continues to feed the hungry, support the sick, and lift vulnerable communities across nations. The message was simple: the prophet’s vision of showing God’s love through practical service is still active, five years later.

In another touching segment, participants described Prophet T.B. Joshua using each letter of the alphabet. The exercise painted a full picture of a man remembered for humility, faith, generosity, wisdom, compassion, discipline, and an unwavering dedication to God’s assignment.

Five years after his passing, the anniversary proved one thing: Prophet T.B. Joshua’s legacy is not locked in the past. It lives on in testimonies, in humanitarian work, and in a global family that still draws strength from his example. For those who gathered at SCOAN, the night was more than mourning. It was a celebration — proof that a life poured out for God and humanity will keep changing lives, influencing nations, and impacting the world long after the person is gone.
