SCOAN Announces Grand 5th Anniversary Programme for Prophet TB Joshua
By Success Okezie
The Synagogue, Church of All Nations has unveiled an elaborate lineup of events to mark five years since the passing of its founder, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua. The anniversary, themed “Rejoicing with the Saints,” is scheduled for *Thursday, June 5, 2026* at SCOAN’s Lagos headquarters.
The celebration is expected to bring together a global gathering of worshippers, gospel ministers, dignitaries and admirers. All are coming to honour a man whose ministry broke barriers of geography, culture and religion. Before the main anniversary, SCOAN will host a 2-day revival from *June 2–3, 2026* at the Faith Resort ground in Agodo, Lagos, setting the spiritual tone for the week.
Five years after his transition to glory, Prophet TB Joshua remains one of the most remarkable Christian figures to rise from Africa. Through decades of teaching, hands-on humanitarian work, and the global platform of Emmanuel TV, his voice reached millions across continents. His message was simple yet profound: faith in action, love without borders, and service to humanity. That legacy has not faded. If anything, it has deepened, continuing to inspire new generations to live with compassion and purpose.
According to the official schedule released by SCOAN, activities begin at 5:00 p.m. with a “Walk Way Experience.” This opening segment will feature visitors from different nations being interviewed on the red carpet as they arrive. They’ll share personal reflections on why they traveled to Lagos to celebrate the life of the late prophet and what his ministry means to them.
The main service opens with a salutation hymn and an opening prayer, followed by a formal introduction from the master of ceremonies. The worship atmosphere will be lifted by international gospel artist *Byron Wilson* from the United States, who will minister in song.
One of the most anticipated segments is an immersive documentary presentation. The film chronicles Prophet TB Joshua’s journey from humble beginnings to global impact. It’s designed to do more than recount history. The documentary aims to remind everyone present why his contributions to Christianity, philanthropy and evangelism are still worth celebrating half a decade after his passing.
A special “Conversation Corner” will follow, giving distinguished guests and longtime associates a platform to share memories and testimonies. The panel reflects the international scope of TB Joshua’s influence. Expected participants include:
– *His Royal Majesty King Willard Mswati Gomani* of Malawi
– *Pastor Acosta* from Argentina
– *Mama Akinola* from Nigeria
– *Sybrand* from South Africa
– *Adisley and Enrique* from Spain
Joining virtually will be *Colonel Wilson* from Colombia, *Katerina* from the United Kingdom, and *Teniente Coronel Melo* from the Dominican Republic.
That global mix tells its own story. During his lifetime, Prophet TB Joshua’s ministry attracted followers and visitors from more than 100 countries. Through Emmanuel TV and extensive missionary outreaches, he became one of Africa’s most recognisable spiritual leaders, drawing people from every background in search of guidance, healing and hope.
The evening will also feature powerful ministrations by *Christiana Shusho*, the renowned Tanzanian gospel singer, and *Brian Cage*, an acclaimed American gospel artist. Their presence underscores the international character of the anniversary and the universal language of worship that defined TB Joshua’s ministry.
A major highlight will be an address by *Pastor Evelyn Joshua*. She assumed leadership of SCOAN after her husband’s passing in June 2021. In the years since, she has worked to sustain the church’s dual mission: deepening spiritual life while expanding humanitarian outreach. Under her leadership, many of the initiatives her husband started have continued and grown.
Observers say this anniversary is not just about looking back. It’s a moment to reflect on the values Prophet TB Joshua championed. Faith that moves mountains. Love that crosses divides. Charity that meets real needs. And Christianity lived out practically, not just in words. Those values still echo in SCOAN’s work today and in the lives of people who never met him physically but were touched through his ministry.
Beyond worship services, Prophet TB Joshua’s impact remains visible in SCOAN’s schools, hospitals, disaster relief efforts and countless charity programmes. These projects have supported vulnerable communities across Africa and other parts of the world. That spirit of giving is woven into the anniversary celebration.
The event will close with a final hymn and a prayer of thanksgiving, bringing to an end what organisers describe as “an evening of worship, remembrance and gratitude.”
For the thousands expected at SCOAN and the millions joining virtually from different nations, the message is clear: Prophet TB Joshua may have transitioned to glory, but the influence of his life and ministry continues to touch hearts, transform communities and inspire faith across generations.
