The Customs Area Controller, Ogun I Area Command, Deputy Comptroller OO Afeni, on behalf of the management, officers, and men of the Command, extends profound condolences to the Ipokia Traditional Council, the royal family, and the entire people of Ipokia Kingdom on the transition of His Royal Majesty, Oba Yisa Olaniyan Adelakun, the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom.
The late Oba was a revered custodian of tradition, a beacon of peace, and a passionate advocate for communal unity. Throughout his reign, he demonstrated uncommon dedication to the advancement of Ipokia Kingdom and to the broader development of Ogun State. His leadership style fostered stability, strengthened cultural identity, and inspired collective progress.
Reflecting on the monarch’s impact, Deputy Comptroller Afeni described him as “a father figure, a wise counselor, and a strategic stakeholder in our mandate to secure Nigeria’s borders and promote economic stability in the border corridor.”
According to the CAC, His Royal Majesty was instrumental in building trust and mutual understanding between the Nigeria Customs Service and the people of Ipokia. “His royal influence, wisdom, and commitment to dialogue created an atmosphere of cooperation that significantly supported our operations. His passing leaves a profound void that will be difficult to fill,” he stated.
The Ogun I Area Command shares in the grief of the immediate royal household, the Ipokia Traditional Council, and all peace-loving citizens of Ipokia Kingdom at this difficult time.
We pray that the Almighty God grants the bereaved family and the entire kingdom the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May the soul of our departed royal father rest in perfect peace.
