FIRS Staff Celebrate Adedeji Over Enhanced Welfare Package

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) headquarters in Abuja was abuzz with jubilation on Thursday as staff gathered to commend the agency’s Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, Ph.D., for his leadership and transformative welfare policies.
The event, initiated by the workers, showcased their appreciation for Adedeji’s efforts to improve their well-being. Holding placards with messages like “We love you Zacch” and “You’re a man of the people,” the staff celebrated with songs and dances, creating a festive atmosphere.
Under Adedeji’s leadership, the FIRS has seen significant reforms, including a salary increment and enhanced welfare packages. According to a statement by Sikiru Akinola, Adedeji’s Technical Assistant (Print Media), these measures have boosted morale and productivity among the workforce.
Adedeji is deliberate and mindful of us. He’s a boss and a friend. His actions, like the recent salary increment, show his commitment to our welfare,” one staff member said. Another noted that his open-door policy and motivational approach have positioned the agency to achieve its ambitious N19.4 trillion revenue target for 2024.
Adedeji, who has been at the helm for just over a year, has garnered admiration for his innovative and people-centered leadership style. Addressing the crowd, he expressed gratitude for their support, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving the agency’s goals
