MAJAN Hails Wale Adeniyi’s Appointment Ag CGC

The Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria, MAJAN, has haile DCG Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on his recent Appointment as Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service (NSC), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
MAJAN said his appointment as the new CG of Customs is well deserved and comes at a time the nation and indeed the NCS are in dire need of a professional, who really understands the dynamics and operational rudiments of the Service.
It said: “Being an insider and one who understands the terrain and topology of the customs landscape, it is expected that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear on the operations of the service and re- position it along sustainable development.
“However, we are confident that you would turn things around ,given your pedigree as one who has traveled this road before and haven served in various capacities including the office of the National Public Relations Officer, amongst others and excelled in all,we are hopeful too that you will equally bring transformational change into the Service.
“We, the Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (MAJAN), have implicit confidence in you to deliver as usual.
It assured the new CGC of unflinching support and cooperation, as you pilot the affairs of the NCS to greater heights, bearing in mind that the NCS plays important role in the economic survival of the country.
