NCS Abuja: Adebisi Takes Over From Ogar-Modey

The Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigeria Customs this Tuesday witnessed the handing over ceremony of the official baton from Ag. Asst. Comptroller-General, Florence Nanu Ogar-Modey to Comptroller Olu Adebisi, under the watchful eyes of the officers/men of the Command and stakeholders at the Command’s Conference Hall.
The tenure of the outgoing Customs Area Controller, Ag. ACG FN Ogar-Modey, lasted for Nine (9)months, during which numerous visible achievements were recorded. Some of her achievements include the generation of impressive revenue, and ensuring compliance of excise factories.
The outgoing Customs Area Controller, Ag. ACG FN OGAR-MODEY in her speech, expressed her appreciation to the officers of the command and the stakeholders for the dedication and cooperation given to her during her tenure. She spoke glowing of the incoming CAC as a seasoned career officer from Promotion and Upgrading at the Headquarters with a track record of excellence. She appealed to the officers of the command and the stakeholders to work collaboratively with the incoming CAC to achieve the set goals of revenue generation.
The incoming Customs Area Controller, COMPTROLLER OLU ADEBISI extended his appreciation to the outgoing CAC and also congratulated her on her new appointment as the Acting Assistant Comptroller General of Customs(ACG). He spoke of the long-established partnership between the Nigeria Customs Service and the stakeholders to achieve the core mandate of revenue generation, and in this regard, he solicited the cooperation of the officers and Stakeholders to achieve this mandate. In conclusion, he wished the outgoing CAC the best in her future endeavours.
Officers extolled and commended the outgoing Customs Area Controller while delivering their goodwill messages.
Present at the handover ceremony were Deputy Comptrollers, the Team Leader of the Customs Intelligence Unit (CIU), the Staff Officer General, Stakeholders and a host of other senior Officers of the Command.
