Powerful Pen Gets New Executive

Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria have completed its election of officer’s into the executive committee of its news magazine, The Powerful Pen.
In a short but beautiful occasion at the Association’s secretariat the Chairman, of Nigerian Union of Journalists Lagos Chapter in company of the Secretary and an ex-officio who supervised the election and organized the swearing -in ceremony were highly impressed with the conduct of members of MAJAN during and after the whole electoral process.
The newly officials includes: Udeme Clement, Asukwo Nuwak, Silas Onuoha, Okezie Nnadi, Frank Odinukaeze and Love Ikuku and Ranmilowo Ojalumo.
In response to the charge from the NUJ executive, Udeme Clement who is the new Chairperson of the Chapel promised to ensure the upholding of ethics and tenets of the profession with a special focus on unbiased reporting.
A minute silence was observed for the late first president of MAJAN, Ray Njoku who passed on in 2023.
The new exos of The Powerful Pen are to remain in office till August 27, 2027.
