MAJAN Congratulates Newly Appointed Managing Director of NPA

The Maritime Journalists’ Association of Nigeria (MAJAN) have sent messages of felicitation to the newly appointed Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Dr. Abubakar Dantosho.
In his remarks, the President of the vibrant Journalist Association Hon. Jerry Onuigbo highlighted the capability of Dantosho as an asset to the Maritime industry.
“Your wealth of experience and dedication to the maritime industry make you a valuable asset to this critical agency”.
“As an insider who has served in various roles within the NPA, we have high expectations for your leadership. We believe that your expertise will contribute significantly to the efficient delivery of port services and improved industry outcomes”.
Onuigbo stated that the Doctorate of Dantosho in Maritime Technology from Liverpool John Moores University and his Masters degree in International Transport from Cardiff University of Wales further underscore his qualifications for this role.
The MAJAN President commended the outgoing MD, Mohammed Bello-Koko, for his achievements during his tenure.
He said Bello-Koko during his time as the Managing Director of NPA, soared beyond everyone’s expectations and MAJAN wishes him continued success in his future endeavours.
“Dantsoho, we look forward to a robust working relationship between the NPA management and Maritime Journalists, particularly the Maritime Journalists’ Association of Nigeria (MAJAN).
“There is also a need to prioritize workers’ welfare and ensure continuity from where your predecessor left off. The maritime community eagerly anticipates positive changes under your leadership”.
